Madonna’s Adopted Daughter, Chifundo Mercy James – Fight For Adoption
Madonna might be one of the world’s biggest pop stars, but she’s first and foremost a mother. Aside from her biological children Lourdes and Rocco, whom she had with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie, Madonna adopted her son David, her daughter Chifundo “Mercy” James, and then in 2017 she adopted twins Stella and Estere. Adoption process is not unfamiliar for the Queen of Pop with four of her six children entering her life through adoption but to adopt Mercy James was not an easy journey. She was adopted from Malawi in 2007 when she was four.

Mercy said she ‘really looks up to’ her and thanked her for giving ‘a life that she would never have had if she wouldn’t adopt her.’
