Dieter Bohlen, the Modern Talking singer and DSDS judge, has been a fixture of German television for decades. His son Marvin, born in 1988 from his first marriage to Erika Sauerland, took a very different path: he works as a personnel manager at a mobile carrier in Hamburg and consistently avoids the public eye. Alongside his siblings Marc and Marielin, he grew up carrying one of the best known names in Germany, but deliberately chose to stay away from the limelight. Bohlen himself now has six children and remarried at the end of 2025, to Carina Walz.
