Eli Reimer is the first teenager with Down Syndrome who reached Mount Everest’s base camp at 5,400 kilometers after a ten-day hike. He’d been training for a year with his fater, who wanted to prove his son has not only the physique but the concentration ability for this challenging task. Since returning, Eli’s been a star in the local high school, and in addition, has collected nearly $ 100,000 donation for a disability advocacy foundation.
