The protagonist: Stephane Ginnsz

Stephane Ginnsz starred in the Duo movie at the age of 12 in 1995. The movie is about a boy who falls in love with a violinist girl of his age and wants to perform a duet with him. Although children and adults with Down syndrome have previously appeared in various films, this is the first play in which the protagonist himself has down syndrome. There is some family background in the movie, as it was written and directed by Ginns’ brother, who knows all aspects of this genetic disorder. The movie won numerous awards and started the careers of both brothers. Stephane is now 31 years old, has graduated from high school since the movie, played roles in several movies, commercials and plays ever since.
