Darragh McKenna became the mayor of Borrisokane, Ireland. During the election campaign, all five candidates had the task to raise money for the renovation of the town’s playground and small forest. The five candidates raised a total of £45,000 – of which Darragh personally raised £22,500. He organized many charity shows and personally visited his voters. No wonder everyone trusted him, as the majority knew him already, because the 31-year-old Darragh has operated a good pub in the city for years, and earned seven gold medals at the Paralympic Games. That’s why it’s easy to believe: he can do anything.
